Return and Refund Policy for Mile12 Messenger, an Online Grocery Store in Lagos, Nigeria
Our policy takes 7 business days to implement. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange if 7 days have passed since your purchase. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it to be eligible for a return. It also has to be in its original packaging.
Some types of goods are excluded from return. Perishable goods such as groceries, vegetables, and dairy products such as milk, cheese, or seafood cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary items, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Other non-returnable items:
- Some health and personal care items
- To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
- Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Refunds (if applicable)
We will send you an email once your return has been received and inspected to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you whether your refund has been approved or rejected. If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically credited into your Mile12messenger wallet or bank account within 48 business hours if you request it.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
Check your bank account first if you haven’t received your refund yet. It may take some time for your refund to be processed. Contact your bank next. Before a refund is posted, there is usually some processing time. Exchanges (if applicable)
Items are only replaced if they are defective or damaged. Send us an email at [email protected] or WhatsApp +234 806 731 5393 if you need to exchange it for the same item.

You will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. The cost of shipping is non-refundable. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund if you receive one.
The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on where you live.
